Ceramic home goods are microwave and dishwasher safe unless otherwise noted in the product description. Hand-washing is encouraged to reduce the risk of breakage and chipping, particularly for pieces with delicate features such as stems or handles. Glazes will wear and colors will evolve with use. Crackle glazes will patina in the crackle lines over time and with exposure to liquids. While this is characteristic of the glaze and is welcome by some, if you would like to slow down the aging process, you may want to have your piece avoid prolonged contact with dark liquids. Hand-washing and drying immediately after washing will also help.
